Texas Performing Arts at UT Austin
Company Overview
Founded in 1981, Texas Performing Arts (TPA) is the professional arts presenting and producing organization of The University of Texas at Austin. One of the largest and most active university-based arts centers in the US, TPA is an integral non-degree-granting division of UT’s College of Fine Arts, an anchor for Austin’s performing arts community, and a key player in the city’s arts and entertainment landscape. TPA operates venues including Austin’s largest theater, Bass Concert Hall, and is the home of the Broadway in Austin series. As a major contributor to the cultural life of one of the largest schools in the nation, TPA’s programs are integrated into curricula within the College of Fine Arts and engage students and faculty across the university.
Texas Performing Arts welcomes and respects all individuals and communities by valuing and consciously maintaining awareness of diverse perspectives and experiences. We believe inclusivity is critical to fostering excellence in all of our endeavors, and we promote diversity in our recruiting, hiring, and retention practices.
