Company Overview
Defiance College, chartered in 1850, is an independent, coeducational, liberal arts institution affiliated with the United Church of Christ. The campus is located on 150 acres in a residential area in Northweest Ohio in the city of Defiance. The College offers more than 40 undergraduate majors and graduate programs in education and business. Defiance is a college where students learn to lead and serve in a democracy; learn to understand, appreciate, and have the skills to interact with other cultures; and learn to not only receive knowledge but to make their own knowledge by engaging in interactive experiences. Our Vision creates an educational experience of engagement in civic, cultural, and learning dimensions. Students can have hands-on experiences in their field of study through quality internships, domestic and international travel, diverse cultural encounters, and distinctive service and research opportunities for personal and professional growth.
