Company History
The City of Aventura incorporated in November 1995. On April 1, 1997, the Police Department began full-time operations with forty police officers and thirteen civilian personnel. Since then, the Police Department has grown to eighty full-time police officers, thirty-nine civilians, and fifteen volunteers.
